We Are a Conduit Foundation

Our 2024 annual filing with the IRS, 990-PF, establishes Bukoba Friends Foundation as a conduit foundation, meaning all of our donations received in 2024 were paid as contributions by March 15, 2025 according to statements 1 and 2 filed.

  ANNUAL APPEAL   Dear Friends,   We have a new name.   Rafiki wa Bukoba is now Bukoba Friends Foundation .   Bukoba Friends Foundation needs your support.   Our mission is to provide medical and educational assistance to the people of Bukoba, Northwest Tanzania.   This region is one of the poorest areas in Sub-Saharan Africa.   Many families subsist on less than $2 per day and lack access to sufficient healthcare, safe drinking water, and adequate educational resources for their children. Over the past years, due to the support of our benefactors, we have provided assistance for: St. Joseph Hospital in Kagondo, which was established by the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis in Springfield.   St.Nicholaus Children’s Center in Kemondo, a home for orphaned, disabled and vulnerable children.           Creation of a village bakery for employment of women in Kemundo.         Water projects i...
